Schonland Research Institute for Nuclear Sciences welcomes you to the Ion Beam Microprobe

Welcome to the Ion-Beam (Nuclear) Microprobe located at the Schonland Research Centre for Nuclear Sciences, University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa.  It became operational in 1991 and it was officially inaugurated early in 1992.  The facility is used for interdisciplinary research in Materials Science, Geology, Medicine, Botany and Metallurgy.
